new obsessions
These glam little slim sticks come in two models: One rolls your delectable scent, the other lights your fire. By a leading Japanese maker of smoke paraphernalia, they can slot right into ciggie packs. But for the rest of us who don't care much for cancer schticks, they're perfect for lighting candles, incense sticks, eyeliner pencils...what have you.
These just in! Love the teak oars. That's probably what did it for me when Andy showed me this set designed by Sweden's Form Us With Love. Because Sagaform manufactured it, the price makes the entire set to good to resist.
what's in store?

Recap: Sebastian Tellier at Consulate 90210
French Fried: Stefan Elfassi and Sebastien Tellier
December blazed by, but it wasn't without its moments of play. The month kicked off with a visit to L.A. by our dear Parisian pal Stefan Elfassi and his Record Makers label artist, the fab pop freak Sebastien Tellier. What was really kooky was the venue for Sebastien's welcome to L.A.: The French Consulate, housed in a Beverly Hills manse that had never hosted such a party.
Philippe Starck, French guy and Pierre André Senizergues
Much of the furniture and art were tucked away, and a mirrored ball, projector screen and deejay table set up to entertain what appeared to be every cool French expat in a 100-mile radius, from Philippe Starck to Etnies founder Pierre André Senizergues. The guac and chips and bad Cab were not what we'd expect from a country that makes such a big fuss about its cuisine and grape juice. In fact, we couldn't shake the feeling we were in high school and had crashed a friend's house while his parents were away. But that didn't dim our buzz and Blanca, Andy and I managed to dance the night away.
Andy and me trip the light fantastico.

Sebastien and Blanca share a moment.

I think that "French guy" is David Martinon, former spokesman for the Elysee palace. Nice guestlist! As a side note, I enjoy your site and blog. Even more so because we have the same last name! Cheers, Gina
