Back in L.A. during the wee, pitch-black hours last night from a whirlwind of design shows and other adventures in New York City. We were there, of course, for the latest installment of ICFF, where we managed to find some great, yet-to-be-released must-haves for A+R. We even slipped in the lecture by W's Stefano Tonchi with design wizard Marcel Wanders.
We also zig-zagged around town to the satellite events, as well meeting with other cool folks for upcoming A+R-related projects. Oh, and in between all of that we managed to hit some life-changing, inspired attractions, from elevated peasant food to the hautest couture to avant-garde theater.
And that doesn't even include the moment when Lou Reed coochie coo'd our little Nina...she's now been officially blessed by the Pope of Greenwich Village!
All this and more to come once we settle in today...posts to begin shortly, I promise...
An illuminating installation in Meatpacking District tied in to ICFF's many satellite events all around town.
Always excited to any of our friend's work, be it in a gallery or elsewhere. And here is adeliciously fun one by Kenny Scharf near our Chelsea hotel.
The entry to the Comme des Garcons shop in Chelsea. Gots to dig it.
So sad we didn't get to see you, and meet magical Miss. Nina!!! We'll have to make sure we hook up next time we're in LaLaLand. XO's from upstate! ~ J.B.T.
