The best part of the season isn’t all the frosted spice cakes, or the bottomless bevies, or even the gifts. It’s the dressing up. Everyone’s willing to dig deeper into their closets and brave ornaments, er, accessories they’d fear the rest of the year. Fully immersed in our retail life, Andy and I have missed out on a full helping of parties this year.
