Lucas Michael Saves World One Gap T at a Time

Just got word that the first of Lucas Michael's T-shirts benefiting Gap (PRODUCT) RED program is now available. The ongoing initiative is designed to give half the profits directly to fund The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, and Lucas' "Spread the Word" style below is the latest in the widening collection of projects since the campaign began three years ago.
The wiry, charming Lucas is a multi-media multi-threat with a penchant for the conceptual and political. His "duet of one" of "You Don't Bring Me Flowers" must be seen to be believed. That said, we adored most the bolero from his native Argentina that he crooned for us at our wedding. The RISD grad is co-founder and co-director of Artists Curated Projects, an artist-operated and curated exhibition space in east Los Angeles he runs with fellow creative Eve Fowler.
Reaching out is second nature to Lucas, whether it's giving another artist a showcase or advice, chatting to strangers at a party, or, well, trying to do his part to fix this world. As Lucas says, "If you can afford to, buy it! It's for a good cause." 'Tis so, indeed.

Spread the Love: Buy It Now.
